Creating a Smart Home is Easy w/ @BestBuy #bbyVivint

Its odd how security and safety has become such a necessity in my household (more than most).  This is due to the fact that my husband previously worked for a private investigator solely running the security shop and monitoring all aspects of the security company.  Because of this, I feel as though I have become much more knowledgeable in this area of technology as well more dependent on it.

There truly isn't anything like having the chance to try something with your own hands before you buy it.  Giving you the ability to learn exactly how this technology is going to work for you and your home.  I was amazed at all the technology there AND how easy it was to try it all out.  My Smart Home Designer, Matt was really helpful and informative.  I didn't feel pressured at all and in fact felt like I was discussing everything with a friend.

With package prices start at $699.99, there are tons (and I mean tons) of options to check out to customize your home.  There are awesome gadgets for all types of homes and individual needs.  I love that you have the ability to integrate other products you may already own with the BBY Smart Home system.  So because we already own a Nest thermostat, Kwikset Smart Lock, and Flood Sensor, we don't HAVE to buy all new products to replace these.

Our personal favorite is the Vivint Doorbell Camera.  I am truly looking forward to adding this to my home and the BBY Smart Home package.  Because our front door does not currently have a window, we have no clue who is knocking.  With the doorbell camera, not only will it give us the ability to essentially see through the door with a 180 degree view but we'll have access to 30 second video clips and 2 way talk (even when we aren't home). I cannot wait!

We also live in the middle of no where so monitoring both our long driveway in the front AND our backyard/rear property are very important.  Living on a corner of two dirt roads with easy access for anyone not to mention the wildlife that has access to our children and pet chickens, can be concerning.  With the Vivint SkyControl Panel and Smart Home App connected to the Outdoor Cameras and Ping Camera, we are able to monitor the home inside and out from anywhere.
