I know I am not alone in saying that when the movie Wreck it Ralph came out five years ago, it was a huge hit for my family. Being that my husband and children are such avid gamers, we loved the first film. Not only was it a great movie for the kiddos but all the nostalgic games made it a fun for the whole family.
Once the first preview aired for Ralph Breaks the Internet,” I knew our family would be headed to the theater to see the new shenanigans Ralph would be getting himself in.
The synopsis says, In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet—the Netizens—to help navigate their way. Lending a virtual hand are Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank (voice of Gal Gadot), a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces—so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had."
Let me tell you, expect more than you can imagine in this film. The storyline was very different than what I had planned for and in an amazing way. It's action packed with some truly heartfelt moments which may even bring on some tears! This was such a cute movie for any and all ages! The boys said it was one of the best movies they've ever seen.
